Questions to ask when buying an older home **** - Zillow Real ...

Many people choose to buy older homes instead of new construction due to their lower value, one major thing to remember when making this decision is if all the updates of the home have been done. Specially if the home is over 30 years old.

Some good questions to ask the seller are:

Is there Aluminium Wiring in this home?
Is there Polybutelyne plumbing in this home??
Have the roof been replaced? If so when?
Are we in a Flood Zone?
Are receipts and/or permits available for previous work?

Having all the work done before you purchase is the smart way to go, otherwise?it could cost you thousands in repairs, make it almost impossible to insure?and possible hold your purchase transactions.

Please feel free to ask any questions.
