Man Who Sold Old Chinese Ammunition To Army Arrested For Prostitution

by admin on November 17, 2012

A former arms dealer convicted of defrauding the government by repackaging 40-year-old Chinese ammunition and selling it to the Army was arrested for prostitution this week, the Naples Daily News reports.

David Mordechai Packouz was arrested at Motel 82 after allegedly agreeing to have sex with an undercover Collier County deputy for $400, according to police. He is facing a misdemeanor charge of prostitution and was released on Friday on $500 bond.

The 30-year-old previously worked for AEY Inc., which had a $298 million contract with the Army. He was sentenced to 14 months of probation and seven months of home detention but was allowed to continue working as a self-employed massage therapist as a condition of his probation.

Packouz?s former partner Efraim Diveroli was arrested again back in 2010 for allegedly trying to once again sell weapons and pleaded guilty to possessing a firearm as a convicted felon.
