Metzger Wickersham traces its origin back to 1888 when Frank B. Wickersham, a Steelton, PA native and former school teacher, began the general practice of law. In 1909, Maurice R. Metzger, a native of Londonderry Township and also a former school teacher, joined Mr. Wickersham in the practice of law. In 1913, Mr. Wickersham and Mr. Metzger formed the partnership of Wickersham & Metzger. The firm changed its name?to Metzger, Wickersham, Knauss & Erb in 1967 after additional attorneys joined the practice, but?the law firm is most recognizably known as Metzger Wickersham.
Over the years Metzger Wickersham has attended to a broad spectrum of legal matters, representing individuals, families, estates, partnerships, corporations, governmental entities and insurance carriers.
