Neighbors told police officials that men with guns entered the apartment. The original report also said that one member of the party was also changed with possession of marijuana.

The Browns, through general manager Tom Heckert, confirmed their awareness regarding the second-year player but declined any further comment. The 6-foot-6-inch, 276-pound Tripp was an undrafted rookie who was later promoted to the Browns? roster last November, playing in three games and recording a lone tackle.
